I am trying to use skype mate to run a usb phone adapter. I get error message "missing dll file, mfc42u.dll" This error has shown up other times prior to skype, but I don't know where to find the file, or how to install it. I'm using windows me.

You should contact vendor of the usb phone adapter to get help from them.

I don't think it's a phone adapter problem, since I have got the message on other apps, I probably should look for windows help. thanks for the reply,
