Hello,

Sorry for the stupid question, but how to I call echo123?

This page in Skype Help says: "Simply type "echo123" in the address bar at the botton of Skype or add it to your contacts." Well, I am using Skype (beta) 1.4.0.99 on Linux, and I don't see an address bar at the bottom of Skype. When I am trying to add it as a contact, I am offered to search for a contact. When I enter "echo123", I get a whole lot of contacts, some of which look official, and others definitely look like users.

So how do I call echo123?

Thank you,
Evgeny

If you look at the bottom of the main window, you'll find a button "Call ordinary phone", is this everything you need!

Cheers

That button works only for phone calls.

Click on the icon at the top of the window (at left of "Search through your contacts"), and you'll see the option "Call a contact not in your list". Select it, type "echo123" and press "Enter". wink.png
