Hi all, I just had what I take to be a spoof message from Skype, telling me that Skype security has detected "malware" on my PC, and that I should download a patch.
The screen presentation was a replica of the usual Skype Phone sized window. Any views in where this has come from and how it got through my Norton? Did it come via Skype?

Don't hit the link! Delete the whole thing then make your chat only open to your contacts. Go Skype>File>Privacy.
It is confusing, I tried for abot an hour to get the Norton Email Assistant to answer this one but spent the whole time being asked what operating system I was using etc...! Couldn't get a simple answer to a simple question, so I googled the link given ...no rtesult, so I then WebFerreted it, and bingo, there was the answer!...For anybody hasn't seen it yet, here it is copied>>>>>>>>
