Hello,

First off - I am new to the Skype forums! *fanfare*

Anyway, to my point. I am a Radio Production Student at the University of Westminster - and I also am on the Committee for my student radio station Smoke Radio (www.smokeradio.co.uk). Anyway, as head of Web I was wondering if there were any switchboard-type options for Skype, that allow for a queue of phone calls and to put people on hold and more importantly, be able to do it for free if they're not calling in from Skype themselves. It would open up a whole new option to our student station, that whilst does have a phone to call-out, this costs, and calling in is not an option as the studios, naturally, are used by students all year round. An ideal solution to this would be Skype, only logging on as-and-when we're in the studios.

If anyone can offer me any solutions to this, news of a solution, or pointers in accomplishing this, I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks.

Maybe you can use lately introduced call transfer feature for it.

With it you can answer call on one computer and then transfer it to the another one when the time is right and you know that you have a decent caller on line.

It's shame that this feature isn't available. That would be nice for me to have the option to allow a caller, Skype or none, to engage in my current conversation. A small button that comes up when it rings to either place them on hold or add to "conversation" which will then automatically setup a conference.

That's what I need but I can't find that anywhere. Currently, my listeners only get a busy signal when they call into the studio. sigh.
