Hi,

I currently work for a medium to large sized business and we currently support about 300 blackberry users. I'm trying to think of ways to cut cost because we have an enormous cell phone bill every month (close to 70,000 USD - that includes cell phones + BBs). I recently found a program called iSkoot (free!) that allows you to connect to Skype from your blackberry. After messing with the program for a while, it seems pretty stable and calls are pretty clear (though it did seem to consume alot of processing power on a new 8830).

We order all our blackberries come with an unlimited data plan for email/internet purposes. The question is if I was able use Skype from my blackberry would I even need a minute plan? I know to receive calls or make a call to non Skype users would require an additional plan and a Skype number.
