I have a skypein number. I have voicemail. I have now connected a UConnect from voipvoice Skype certified. I go this so I could use a regular phone with Skype. That side works.
However
1. My voicemail still works but only after a large number of rings. I have altered the time in tools/options/calls/voicemail several different numbers just to trigger it down to 1. But no change
2. Most serious…. Just now called to find out how many and got unobtainable. Several times. Then I get through but it is erratic. I have set this up as a business line. Anyone call this afternoon they will assume I am out of business. Absurdly stupid of me to use Skype for this it’s the number I have given out. My mistake. ( I have had some one else attempt to make the calls to prove I was not miss dialling. Having gotten through I attempted Redial and got unobtainable. I then checked redial on another number – It worked.
If anyone else has had either of these issues tell me what to do.
3. Also is it me or should Skype recognise a completed phone number and dial or is the system like a mobile where the send /dial has to be clicked. I can hit keyboard so not a major issue just like to know.
I do hope Skype do not follow in the Microsoft footsteps that is releasing a product before it has been tested. But then this is a Beta.
