For those that do not know . . skype offers you the possibility to charge the people that call you by the minute.

Its great!!!! You dont understand the possibilities that this offers!

It allows consultants to operate around the world . .. increasing market competition. You can work with an American business consultant in San francisco or you can talk to a teacher that teaches Russian in Moscow (or young students that offers conversation). And you can charge by the minute!!!!!

its excellent it allows poor countries to trade their skills with rich countries.

For egsample consider that a teacher of spanish in argentina would be offering her skills in spanish conversation at a lower price than a teacher of spanish in spain.

Wages are different in different parts of the world. . and this service could help competent people in poor countries to offer their service to rich countries.

PUBLICISE THIS!!!

Plus it favors an immaterial world where producion is in immaterial goods and thus there is less pollution.

Suggestion to skype:

Set up a board. An exchange Board where services are offered . . . bought and sold

A place where people can publicise their services and where people in search of services can look for services. Thus a market place is created

I Have to agree with you, this is a very good idea. They have a page somewhere, where you can advertise your trade. Another thing that would help, would be to fix skypecast, I have met many people in skypecasts and helped them with computer problems, being able to charge would mean an easy second income. Heck you could make it a full on job if you wanted to.

Don't forget Skype takes 30% or something so it's not nearly as good as it sounds.

While the 30% thing makes me not want to use this with paypal as any sort of real business, I immediately wonder why it /requires/ paypal. I would much prefer offering cheap services to be paid directly to my skype account, to offset the costs of my normal calls. Why is this not an option?
