Hi everybody !!

I have just finished the installation of the last version of Skype 1.4.0.94 but I never found the button to go to the skypecast...

:-(

I suppose the module skypecast is not operational under linux but I would like to know if it's possible to have a tips to use this module...


If you know a method that I can use under linux and more particularly with debian etch...

Try entering the Skypecast phone number in the address bar on top of the Skype main window and hit enter. I'm not sure whether it's working, but it could be worth a try.

To use skypecast under the last version of Skype 1.4.0.94 under Linux


Operating manual :

Step 1: Go with your browser on the skypecast webpage : https://skypecasts.skype.com/skypecasts/home?setlang=fr

Step 2 : Choose your country if you want to change of language and looking for your skypecast (find your skypecast).

Step 3 : Click on the title of your skypecast to have more information.

Step 4 : Show the source of this page (right click and show the source code) et looking for the phone number ( ctrl + F) -> start by +99...

Step 5 : Open Skype and click on call ordinary phone et put the phone number.

Step 6 : Wait 5 seconds and after you are with other people on your skypecast.

It's not perfect but it's better that nothing...
