Ok this is certainly not the first post on this topic, but can someone tell me WHAT CAUSES an account to be blocked? And don't tell me to submit a support request, we all know those never get answered in a timely way....

How do i get an account unblocked, and how can I prevent my business accounts from ever being blocked again?

If anyone at Skype is listening, this is exactly the kind of crap that caused me and many others to leave PayPal. ( I still haven't gotten my money back from them after about a year)

Can you say "class-action law suit" ?

These can be several reasons: you could call from an IP, state, country with a fraudulent history (calling from Vietnam and Egypt are known countries to cause a blocked account).
Someone hijacked your payment option or your account and is using your money. You paid for two or more accounts with one Credit card. I agree it is a huge annoyance but it is always to protect the user.

A support ticket is the only option. If no reply after 4 workig days, we can try to help out via the forum. Remember that the forum is not an official support channel, submitting a ticket is.

You can't prevent your account for being blocked again. When it happens, it is for your own safety.

Of course you can say that but not before you submitted a ticket and not receiving a reply at all. You need proof that you contacted Skype to unblock you account.

Why does it take so long for a response?
Why is there no way to reply or discuss the issue. It is just a "Response".

Is it really a SUPPORT TICKET if there is no way for the customer to respond?

Seems like it's a one way street that takes four days to travel each time.

I see several posts about the 'response' not even addressing the questions asked in the ticket.
The last "response" I got also did not address my question in the original support ticket - it was the answer to some other question using similar keywords.

Why are so many support responses seemingly ignoring or not comprehending the support issues and questions asked?

From my perspective, the responses seem "canned" - or from a "script book". And someone is selecting what responses are copied and pasted based purely on the keywords used in the ticket.

And then it takes another 4+ days to get further clarification...

For me, this four+ day response time for support - that is simply - "A Response - or Some Response" goes way beyond an annoyance.

Yes, I see your replies and your PM to me - none of which answers or comments on any of my questions. You just say stop posting and wait for 4 days to pass...
