It seems to me there is no compatibility between Skype and Windows Vista, skype works perfectly well, but keeps crashing my explorer, I am not able to add files to my mails, and my web pages keep turning off. Is there a way I can fix this without uninstalling the skype? I really like the way this program works, but I also need my Internet explorer working ok.

Are you sure you're running the latest version of Skype? That issue has been resolved in both 3.2.0.175 and 3.5.0.158 BETA

Hello Celes ~

To correct the IE7 crashes in Skype version 3.2 (multiple releases), you can disable the Skype Add-ons (having the option to re-enable them later, should you choose).

It is very straightforward:

1) Within IE7, choose Tools
2) Select Manage Add-ons
3) Select Enable or Disable Add-ons
4) Highlight Skype and then select Disable
5) Select OK

Hope this rectifies your situation ... Cheers!
