I'm using vista home premium english and vista ultimate version (32bit)
i experience system slow down and out of resource problem on skype 3.5
i have a core 2 duo desktop with 4gb ram and Asus A8JS laptop which come with T7200 cpu and 2gb ram
i have problem on both machine
when i experice the problem, i can't right click on my windows tool bar. i'm not able to close program other than skype 3.5 itself. i'm not able to ctrl-alt-del to start task manager in vista (it did go to the blue screen which allow you to start task manager, but nothing start)
after a fresh reboot
i open 5 or 6 problem, my machine start to slow down by 1000%, i was thinking some software problem so i start to disable them one by one.
after i remove skype 3.5 and back to 3.2 everything back to normal. so i assume 3.5 have some issue with vista.
i can recreate the problem every time on both system
3-8 IE (tab or no tab) or 3-8 firefox

some time the system will act like no internet connection on my system... and i can't connect to the internet.
after remove 3.5 and back to 3.2 everything back to normal.

Vista is a fairly dramatic transition in operating systems ... similar to Windows 3.1 evolving into Windows 95.
As a result, there are adjustments required for related hardware and software ... particularly with drivers ~ and these adjustments take time.
You were wise to find an appropriate resolution for your 3.5 version challenges ... well done!

Funny you mention Vista... I run Beta on Vista Home 64 bits and I have no problems whatsoever... just thought you might like to know

Delighted to hear that your Skype Beta version 3.5.??? and Vista are operatiing smoothly. Did you have to make any adjustments? ... Or did it run smoothly from the beginning?
If you didn't require any modifications, please post some info on your hardware and software so they we can identify some commonalities.

You have problem with a Core2dou processor is not compatible with skype
so I been looking for a solution but no hope
