Hi all,

I didn't want to open a new thread but i basically here we go.

I've jusy bought a new MacBook on intel 2.16 Ghz dual core duo anyway and i was using SkypeIN and Out just fine on my older PC laptop, on MacBook it's hellish.

I've off course downloaded the lastest Skype version, made sure to configure all of it right but no the sound quality with my current headset a Cyber Acoustics sucks. the sound quality is perfect on a PC, why is it so bad on MAC? I fail to understand. I even tried the Built In microphone, the sound quality is the shittiest ever, i'm sorry for my language but things are what they are. I can not also get my hands on a new USB headset in Canada, i'd be scared to get something not working with my MacBook now this is making my life hard, since i use skype as my phone line. I read through blogs, forums, countless websites, i'm seeking for help here now. Can you please point me to in the right direction, i feel like i'm going astray and i would be grateful to be find a way in order to make the sound quality better. When i make a call to a landline phone or cell phone, people have a real[i] hard time to hearing me (echo and parasites) or they do not hear me at all, i tired to use also garage band and make tests nothing seems to make it better, headset (inline) nor built-in microphone seem to function as it should.

I'm kind of desperate here, i did even download some program from SoundScore to try to make it better, niet. It still sucks.
