I am trying to ascertain the commercial viability of adding land mobile radios (VHF, UHF, etc.) to the communication mix within Skype. We have a product that enables users to represent radio channels as phone numbers and allows the two devices to communicate. Potentially, a local radio channel can be represented as a Skype user. So for example, the channel could appear within Skype as: SomeCompany.Radio.VHF.Channel16. Any Skype user within the business can now talk with all users on that channel.
Like I said, I’m curious about the commercial viability of this solution.
