Maybe there is an anti-bug in the API docs on RESETIDLETIMER? The docs state that this command is available in Protocol 7. Linux Alpha 1.4 announces itself as using Protocol 5, but this command returns as valid, and seems to work as documented. Good news! But maybe the API docs should be amended?

1. There is no support for user auto-away in 1.4 at this moment. Calling RESETIDLETIMER will have no effect.
2. "Linux Alpha 1.4 announces itself as using Protocol 5" where is this said? It is clearly a bug/omission.

Aha! I sat down to generate a trace, and discovered that the code I'm working with (kb2kskype) is requesting Protocol 5. I've upped this to Protocol 7, and 1.4.0.64 responds happily to that as well. Sorry for the static -- and thanks for the info about this command.
