I work for the Dept of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University. We're looking for a cheap alternative for occasional international calling, and it seems the free Skype to Skype connection would provide all the service we're looking for. I've read the EULA and TOS but can't determine if using the free service for work is allowed. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Skype forum. We would be happy to help, despite that you are an Aggie! ;-)

You are welcome to use Skype within your business/school environment.

Re. the header of your message: Skype for business would be useful to you if you want to purchase SkypeOut credits and SkypeIn numbers from one account (/card) and allocate these services to different users in your department (/project groups etc.)

But for Skype-2-Skype communication it is not necessary. If you need it later you can sign up then (easy, free) and invite users to be part of the group control panel on a need to need basis.
