do you think it can be added to the list?

It works but not comfortable. The Beta or the phone has a big problem with the upstream. The other station has troubles to understand me if I use the HTC S710 with Skype. Downstream is ok. But there are leaks every few seconds and the called station told me, that I can't be understand....

I hope this is a beta problem. I bought the S710 mostly because I can also use Skype on it. At the moment, no chance. It's too bad. Hope there's a technicien or supporter of Skype reading this. It's very complicated to contact a Skype person who knows something about the development stat of the 2.2 beta. At the moment it's a nice gadget but not more. Chat works fine, but phoncalls are terrible. On the same wireless network wioth Netgear SPH101 no problem. Fine and clear.

I was also not connected by ActiveSync and has no other application started. 25 MB free memory at Skype client start.

Because I begin to use skype also for all my "normal" not GSM calls (Skype in and Skype out) it MUST work, otherwise I have again two phones with me....and this was not the idea.

Hi Sigma

I agreed partially with you, I am using skype on s710, and the problem listed by you happened to me as weel. But looks like depend also with which version of skype the people with who you are talking is using.

I give you an example, I call one my agent with several employs, with same of them the quality is ok, with others is very bad.

For sure Skype on smartphone it is not optimised for W.M. 6, but lets hope that a new release for smartphone will be ready soon.

I woould like to know if sameone have any idea of what happened, if we replace the exe file for smartphone with the one for pocketPC for low speed CPU.

Thank Luca
