Full Version: Failure to run
Skype Community > English > Development, Betas and Skype Garage > Archive > Skype for Mac 2.6 Beta

...found a post in the archive with some help from the admin that didn't seem to come to any conclusion, apart from telling us that Skype should run without the "missing" libraries... but, clearly, it can't.

When I try and run skype the icon bounces once on the dock and then nothing else happens.

Crash log says this:

-------------------------------

Host Name: xxxxxxxxxxxx.local
Date/Time: 2007-05-25 10:19:18 +0100
OS Version: 10.3.9 (Build 7W98)
Report Version: 2

Command: Skype
Path: /Applications/Skype.app/Contents/MacOS/Skype
Version: ??? (???)
PID: 535
Thread: Unknown

Link (dyld) error:

dyld: /Applications/Skype.app/Contents/MacOS/Skype can't open library: /System/Library/Frameworks/QuartzCore.framework/Versions/A/QuartzCore (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

--------------------------------

So as it stands I have no Skype on my work Mac, boo. Please help.

I'm using 2.6.0.140, BTW.

Just found some other topics on the same subject, so apologies for double posting. No helpful replies to any of the topics though, so developers...?
