We run a very small design studio, only 4 people or so.

We have one sales person in a different location, and two techs and one sales support person at our main location.

I was wondering if it is possible with a combination of services you offer, to have two phone numbers, one for sales and one for tech, and then have all four of us with skype, and if someone calls the sales number it would direct them to one of the sales who could answer their call, same with the if someone calls the tech, and one tech is out to lunch, and the other tech can take the call, is this setup possible?

In addition to this is there any way to forward the call, say someone calls the sales line but he has more of a tech question, is there a way to just forward/direct the call to a tech person from sales, and vice versa?

If these solutions don't work could you suggest a solution for me to do?

Thanks.

Us to, I will follow your request for help. We have an office with 4 assistants and need a cheaper system than we currently have, Skype seems to be the answer but we are unsure as to whether we can have this linked to a virtual system such as a PBX attendant system. Anyone out there know if this is possible and successful.

Thank you.

Were looking for a cheaper solution actually. Plus that call center, just looking at it looks complex, our business is all about simplicity if possible.

PrettyMay looks good, and has the right feature set for us. Will not buy it, though, because it is only available for Windows. If you supported Linux or Mac OS X, you would have a new customer.

Thanks, Mophilly. actually agents assigned into PrettyMay can use any manchine that support Skype.
You just need to install PrettyMay on a single PC with windows system as the Call Center server.
Your agents just need to have Skype to receive the calls. so they can use Linux or MAC OS x...
