When I tried to work out my problems with the latest Alpha I decided to downgrade to the beta again. For whatever reason I'm now getting the same problems I had with the latest Alpha- messy message window, missing "Conversations" tab... When I deleted the files to do a clean new install I realised that I have two preferences files on my machine, one in user/library/preferences, one in HD/library/preferences, the latter doesn't change at all when using Skype. Everyone I asked doesn't have two files and it seems a little weird to me to have two preferences files. Can that be a reason for Skype behaving weird? I'm currently using the latest Beta on a G4 with 10.3.9...

Everyone should have two pref files. That is normal.
