Can one join a Skypecast with 1.4? I am guessing not but just thought I'd check because I'm not sure what cool things the new version can do that I'm not aware of.

You can simply dial in into the provided skypecast phone number. There isn't any support for managing whilst inside the skypecast, but you can simply join as a regular member.
