Why not? Petroleum is always in $ and not €...

For that you need to check the conversion rate at the time you bought your credits... it's probably 1.23 or 1.24 times the credit volume... so if you bought 10€ credits you payed about 12.4$

It probably wouldn't hurt if Skype put a dollar converter on their website somewhere. It can be just a simple code, you type in the dollar amount and the euro or whatever amount shows. I'm sure Skype can do this, but if they want the code, I'll be glad to get one for them.

Best currency converter www.xe.com

Problem is that this isn't going to be exactly what your credit card or bank gives you...there rate is usually slightly worse than what www.xe.com displays ...so for a trully accurate rate you will have to visit their websites and use their own currency converters (if they provide them)

Because Skype is based in Europe and they are required to do so by EU legislation.
Besides EU - Dollar exchange has been quite stable the last couple of months so simply multiplying by 1.24 is not that hard.
