downloaded and installed skype beta, no problems, installed drivers for vista, toshiba bluetooth manager, trendnet phone, when I check green bars on input, the voice bar moves, skype software can hear me, but i can hear no audio even though I select the bluetooth phone in skype audio microphone and headset options. I can hear crackling silence in phone, but nothing picks up. All drivers are updated, any ideas?

As first thing please make sure that you have selected right input/output devices.

Secondly make a test call to echo123 to get results.

Did that, checked control panel - sounds - saw the bluetooth device, enabled, checked, checked settings, all seems to be working properly, cannot hear through device and no one can hear me. I opened a case with trendnet, they are escalating it. My phone works fine on my xp machine. Weird. All settings seem to be working fine, I just cannot hear and no one can hear me.
