Small problem.

I am using the beta Skype 2.6.0.72. My Mac is a G5 10.4.9. I am fairly new to Skype, but I downloaded the latest version as I was desperate to clear up an intermittent static problem on an International call that we began experiencing just the other day. (The audio is better on local calls, but I have yet to try it with the problem International call.)

I wanted to get information about the Beta version of Skype, and so I pulled down the Skype menu to "About Skype." The display box remained open and in front of my other programs for minutes until I quit Skype all together. No clicking on the box or keystroke combination that I could think of would close it. (Command-W).

As I said, small issue. I thank you for this wonderful software. It has been a gift for my family!

Hi Dorothy. Have a similar set up to you, if you are still PPC! Just tried the about Skype box, the close button seems to be the lower half of the about Skype box, below 'Take a deep breath'. Hope that works for you, do let us know.

Closing the about screen only works when clicking on the text inside the dialog.
