Hi!
Great job with new skype. Have just installed it on feisty. A few things that i would like to share with you:
1. when i started client for the first time there was watch icon on the right (history button i think )
i clicked it and it changed to red flag and stays like it all the time; changed my tray icon to a flag too, i need
to switch my status to get rid of it.
2. chat window.. first thought when i saw it "ugly". Why did you put all that buttons for history (one
day/week/month)? Making one allowing to choose would be better idea IMHO. How to remove users from
conference chats???? And once again.. why that window is so ugly?
Rest of Skype is really a big step forward. I`m impressed. This skype is worth of waiting so long.

With the chat window. Rather than text buttons, perhaps a drop down list would work better. So something along the lines of:

Show: [ most recent chat | V ] [ looking glass icon ] [ green plus icon ]

The show list could include:

most recent chat (so only last conversation, not all day's conversation)
today's chat
chats since yesterday
chats since last week
chats since last month
chats since last year
all chats

That would remove all the text buttons and leave only icon buttons and the text drop down for the user to see.
It's also not clear, if there are multiple people in the chat, whether the chat history includes individual chats with all members, or just chats where all members participated, or just chats for the "selected" member. A little wording the UI might help sort that out, but I can't think of a concise way of expressing it...
