possibly, but maybe not...the live dvd would have to have sigc and possibly qt4 and most live CD's/DVD's currently don't...if you get lucky and find one that does, it should be quite easy to install Skype
this should be possible at all, at least ubuntu let you install packages also in the live version, so I haven't tried but I see as possible for me
