When using Skype out it would really make sense if one could import all contact informations from Outlook.

Do you plan about providing such a possibility?

Instead of importing immediately from Outlook, why not simply impotrt from CSV files (nearly every PIM program can export to such files...) This way skype could import contacts from many different sources without exploding because of extra features....

Question: Why even import all those contacts into your skype contact list? Simply add a url "callto://+xxxxxxx" where xxxxx is the phone number to each Outlook contact! With that url you can call using skype automatically!

Well, answering your question....

i am a veeeery simple PC user who is already happy when the thing does as told...

this suggestion definitely is too complicated...i don´t even have an idea what you really are talking about!

But the thing about importing a csv file sounds great bigsmile.png

Difficult to make everybody happy :-)
For very basic users everything must work out of the box and automatically (and the developper has du do all the job... but then skype will grow to over 20MB instead of already between 8 and 9!)
Once Skype publish their API, I'm sure requests like yours will be implemented by lots of entousiastic advanced PC users!... just be a bit patient :-)

smile.png it´s just natural that developpers and users have different views...i can tell loads about that (being in the industrie), but as a user i see the advantage for internationally working companies and i don´t really care if the software needs 10 or 20 MB...

but i will be patient
