I installed the beta version and for some reason isight is not being recognized by skype. I went to video prefs and it says camera not found.
Any help will be appreciated.

What version of OSX you have?
What Mac you have?
Try also trashing Skype settings.

I have the same problem, skype will not recognize built in isight. I am running mac osx 10.4.10 and skype version 2.6.0.151.

Do you have the latest version of Quicktime?
Why don't you try upgrading to the latest Skype BETA 2.7.0.49?

I'm still having problems with Skype and my FW400 iSight... I'm running the latest beta and have 10.5.1 Leopard installed. I have removed application support files and preferences.
What happens is that I have to quit Skype and then re-launch it to be able to send audio. Here's more on my config:
mic - iSight
video - iSight
audio out - line out
