Dear Community,

I am desperately looking for a solution that allows me to send and receive instant messages via Skype by attaching a simple PHP interface. The idea is to have a skype account connected to a web-interface that allows me to type in a message on a website, submit it and have it distributed to all the Skype account's contacts.

I was thinking of installing a Skype client for Linux and connecting some PHP application (written by me) to this client via the API - does anyone know if this is possible or maybe already has developed such a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I too am interested in this. We want to be able to have clients contact us when they travel and are at internet cafe's, where security is scarce.
