A search for the ideas forum would be really nice... see if something has already been suggested.

And it's propbably been said, but an answering machine for skype would be nice. If you don't answer, play a message and dump the audio input to a wav. Another thing that'd be cool to see is tone recognition to execute a program/launch a file. IE: have skype launch something if a user (optionally only contact list user) dials #998.

That last one is a good idea, first time I read this kind of suggestion!

Anyway, if all interesting suggestions were implemented inside Skype, I think it would become a monster application. So, yes, let's wait for the API!

For me, the Webcam inside Skype would be great!
