Hi there, My name is Billy and I am 62 years of age, some of us tried a similar
type of post a couple of months ago, but after a couple of weeks it seemed to
run out of steam. I hope this will be more successful.
Keep in touch.

I am Dutch, age 64, and seriously looking for people who have some time for a regular smalltalk
My current English level is bad and I feel the necessity to speak English as frequently as possible. .
The most important reason is that my son and his family lives in New Zealand (near Napier)
I would like to suggest we continue our talk on a weekly base.
If you agree with my idea, please contact me! Send a mail to water.quovadis@chello.nl
We can first mail to make appointments.
Thank you

hi lillywhite 7, thank you for your reply, i quite like
christy moore, nice quiet laid back type. i have only
been to eire once, that was dublin, i liked it for the
booze, but music scarce, and not the type i like.
my wife maggie doesn't drink, so she did not enjoy
the visit at all. we are thinking of touring the west coast
next year, we have been told the music and pubs brill.

Fri Oct 19 2007, 14:32
Hi Aero, not much traditional music in Dublin, there will be a lot more in the west especially Clare and
Galway. I dont drink either and there doesn't seem to be that much to do in Ireland that doesn't
involve drink.

Hi - I'm 55, female and happily married too...just started this skpe thing at the request of my daughter. Not sure at all what I am doing and not so computer literate other than internet surfing in support of my geneology addiction. I am intrigued by your interest in spinning. I have watched some women (and a few men) card and spin wool fibers (alpaca, goat, sheep, dog) at local county fairs. Maybe someday soon I will find time to try it. It amazes me how you can get those fibers to become skeins of yarn. Just as amazing are the weavers. I skipped over the knitting - tried it, made scarves because I could never get the hang of casting off.....55 and I still have no patience for the creative things (except in the garden).
Iris - 55 and not always feeling so young. In fact after this weekend's lawn improvements, I feel every muscle, joint, and bone in my body and think I might feel worse than my 92 year old church friend. What do you want to chat about?

NOPE, I'm one of the over 50++ crowd too. And use have used Skype regularly to keep and meet new people and culture all over the world. Skype is a great way to do that. I've met lots of lovely people. Happily married, just like to chat and get to meet new people. For clean chat only. (Food, activities, hobbies, etc)
Hey, I'm in Texas too. Great state. Contact me. I'm in the 50+ age group although I don't like to admit it most of the time. But is is only a number!

I'm 60, and live in New York, and I think that there are alot more of us then you think on Skype.
If you get enough contacts, you can start a conference room, and chat with alot of us, just like the defunct Skypecast, that I miss very much.

Hello Mighty, i am going on 70. I had a ball with the skype-casts, were they ever so much fun. We talked to each other from all over the world. But they did drop them now as of Sept.1,2008. It was the tool for enhancing world peace. But no such luck for humanity; The Powers To Be, Status Quo
had other plans. They want our souls & they think they can buy it with money. What do you think? Have you yet noticed the Monopoly game we are in-
volved, entangled with. It is totally phoney money, fiat paper, has no in-
trinzik value whatsoever, but the Monopolies suck up our sweat & blood & exchange it for land, resources and leave behind rules & regulations to make life unbearable for the average person. In the name of national security they lie & cheat, devouring our dignity, freedom & rights. Just simply say "NO" stop playing their game. Barter, stop using their deadly credit systems. Exchange services, trust your neighbor more than your government, who is enslaved by monopolies.
