I live on a 7x2 mile island in Michigan located at the southern mouth of the Detroit River named Grosse Ile. The island is home to about 11,000 people and between 400-500 deer plus geese, ducks, eagles, swans, herons, raccoons, foxes, and coyotes. Grosse Ile is a bedroom community which means people live here and commute to jobs off island. Access to Grosse Ile is by two bridges, boats, and airplane. The island has three golf courses and an airport. I have lived here for 23 years and I can not think of another community in Michigan that I prefer. Hi Stephen, Nice to make your acquaintance. I can't talk right now but I have strong interest in your experiences with Netgear and other Skype hardware. I went bleary several nights doing research (typical of me) looking at telephones, adapters, and the like. I hope to use SIP and / or Skype for business, so I'm looking to collect experiences with VoIP services and equipment. Now I have the basics of interacting in this community I'll post a formal request. It is very cold and gray here in Denver for the second day in a row a bit of an unusual situation. Mostly it's relatively pleasant here given the high (5280ft) elevation. It's nice to see snow on the mountains. I will try to figure out more about using Skype tonight and maybe we chat on the phone. This sequence shows how the snows hang on the foothills just around the corner from where I live. The high mountains lie about 5-7 miles behind these starters. I'll post some pics of those soon. If you follow the sequence from 1-4, it shows about a 120-130 degree panorama, with the far southern 'burbs off it the distance. We had a good snow last night and the forecast calls for temperature just above freezing with snow showers for the rest of the day. I suspect driving will be difficult, so I plan to spend most of the day inside. I will sign in here from around UTC 21 to UTC 1. I invite 50+ folks to my little corner for the world for some warm conversation in that time frame.

Billyboy963, my wife, Cathy, and I had a gift certificate for the Wolfgang Puck restaurant in Detroit's MGM Casino. We went for lunch and I can honestly say I have never eaten finer food.
