I have Ubuntu 6.10 with 2.6.17-11-generic and I get very odd behaviour with the USB phone / driver. (Need to reboot the machine if a usbb2k_api (mod'd version here) gets an exception - which it regularly does.) The patched source code made me more stable (more than 1 phone call was possible! smile.png) But I still get hang ups, it doesn't think a call ended, will not work for another call etc.

I saw that version 2.6.18 of the kernel has updated Yealink driver support, but I'm not sure if that's needed or wanted with the usbb2k_api running? (I saw on an NSLU2 info page they talked about Yealink software, that suggested patching usbhid in 2.6.17 or just start using 2.6.18 onwards - I preferred the sound of the latter smile.png)

I just wondered - is 2.6.18 recommended? Or newer? Or older than 2.6.17 (presumably in a time gone by, the kernel was once completely unaware of Yealink?)

Any suggestion gratefully received! Thanks again.

DOH! This relates to the USB_B2K software w/ Kb2kSkype, can a mod move it please? Or should I delete and re-insert?
