Thanks for the release guys, however a feature that find so fustrating that it doesn't seem to work properly is sending SMS from within the address book.
If you click a UK mobile number starting 07, skype opens the dialogue box for SMS and puts the +44 on the number, but it doesn't remove the 0. I could get round this by changing all my numbers to +44. However the big problem is that once you sent 1 SMS from the address book and closed the SMS chat box you can't open it again using the address book. This bug has been present since the betas of 2.5 so i assume the address book plugin hasn't been changed.

I don't mean to be rude - but as a C programmer, surely this would not be that difficult to fix.
I find this kind of ridiculous that this problem isn't more greatly documented. I thought that my messages just weren't sending, and naturally assumed the sending number was right. I'm just lucky I came across this so I know how to rectify it. (Even though roundabout)

Hello,
Is there any news on a fix for the stuck video problems listed here yet? I've been experiencing similar problems with my outgoing video on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.4.10 and Skype 2.6.0.151. My out-video will freeze, but audio is OK. In fact, everything is fine until I try to restart the video in any way (including by restarting Skype), at which point all of Skype locks up unrecoverably. 3 'Force Quits' are required to shut it down, at which point I have to reboot to re-start Skype. Noticed there's a 2.7 beta release, but no mention of fixing this problem so I'm giving it a pass right now. If there's another/newer thread with more info, let me know & I'll follow up more there.
Many thanks!
