I have a credit card proble too.
I cannot use any of my credit cards, neither visa nor master.
What really puzzles me is that I had no problems using my master card the first time.
The money was transfered, 11,50€, all was okay.
And now the same credit card is not accepted, neither is another one. Have been trying this for 3 days now.
The cards work in shops, I have tried them.
NEED HELP!!

Same thing happened with me and happening with many others.
Reason is simple , Skype and paypal are same, and paypal need to get enough business, Busienss comes for paypal either by Ebay or by skype. very simple. Message is clear enough.

Good thinking, I already had the same thing in mind.
Because in the FAQ section it is one of the first suggestions: Try Paypal or
moneybrookers.... incident?
That's the same with me! Tried two different credit cards, that used to work before, and none of them work now. I've been trying for 5 days!!!

There are two ways to buy Credits:
1) via the Skype client. Skype -> Help -> Buy Credits
2) via www.skype.com by logging in to your account page.
Please try the other option if one does not work.
Also try another web browser. Other then IE6 or 7, can cause this problem/message.
And do not use a Proxy.

I live in Spain and the payment service of Skype is awful. Apparently they dont accept Spanish credit cards. This is pathetic. I'm moving to wengo (www.wengo.com)
