I bought a new pc a couple of days ago and now I am putting all the software on it that I want.
One of them is Skype. As I use Skype through a B2K Adaptor I also need SkypeMate.
Software:
Skype 3.1.0.151
SkypeMate: 3.0.1.29
Microsoft Vista Home Premium

Problem: I start the programms and all is well with the world. SkypeMate is green and Skype is working too.
When I dial a number directly in Skype it work and the call is made. However, if I use my phone and dial *00 then the Skype window closes (Skype is still working in the backgroung) but nothing gets dialed.
I do here a free sound from my phone.

Can anybody suggest how I could get around this?

Sorry I can't answer your question but perhaps you can answer mine. I have a USB adaptor using SkypeMate 2.0.1.86. Where can I get an update for this? I have windows XP and this version works perfectly. Do you think your problem is the program or Vista. I would hate to update and screw up a good thing.
