Hello,

My username is vipsta and yesterday I bought SkypeIn. I had previously bought SkypeOut in December, and the service so far has been decent. However, my trouble began yesterday. I used my Visa credit card to buy SkypeIn. The card was accepted, and it showed on my Skype account page that it was still processing. Around 2 hours later, my Skype account displayed this:

About 6 hours after that, I received an auotmated e-mail from Skype stating that my purchase was successful. I logged back into my Skype account to find that my SkypeIn number was enabled, but my account was still blocked, and I could not make any SkypeOut calls. And, on top of that, my credit card was charged.

I have sent two tickets already to Skype. One right after the error message showed up, and another after the purchase was confirmed, but no service was delivered. Neither of those tickets have been responded to.

Before this, my dealings with Skype have been excellent, but this recent problem has made me think twice about using Skype in the future. Also, I bought SkypeOut when it was only $15, and if I have to create a new account and pay $30 plus the $12 for another SkypeIn number, I will no longer referer people to Skype, nor will I continue to use Skype.

Please advise the date of your filed ticket.
Currently, we are experiencing a minimum response time of 4 business days.
Please also clear up one thing for me - when you say you bought SkypeOut do you mean the Unlimited Calling Plan ?

Yes, I bought the unlimited calling plan

The first ticket was made on April 13th, and the second on April 14th.

Thanks for the clarification.
As replies to tickets take a minimum of 4 business days please advise if you don't receive a response by Thursday April 19th.
