I just strated using Skype.

Primarily I use it along with Filemaker to call business contacts.

It would be great to be able to just

1. highlight the contacts # in Filemaker.

2. Right click

3. Choose "call # with Skype"

I'm not a programmer but it seems like that should be relatively easy to manage.

Perhaps this is already available and I just haven't seen it.

If this was possible it would be a huge time saver.

Otherwise I have to copy the number in Filemaker, maximize the Skype program, paste the # and hit ENTER. Then go back to Filemaker and repeat all those steps.

I understand what you need! We don't have a plug-in for FileMaker that would allow you to do that for all databases. However it is quite easy to build a hyperlink field that uses the Skype URI syntax described here:
