How Skype handles when IM chat window is closed ?

Whether it just hides the window or closes the window ?

If it is closing , then how it is able to retrieve back the IM window , when i select TOOLS->RECENT CHATS ->......

is it achieved through conference id ?

What is the logic that they r using in SKype?

I am not sure what you mean, I thought your were asking what is used as the unique reference to get to each chat, that would be the chat name. I am not speaking of internal Skype Client Window Id's

I also don't understand what do you mean. The chat is closed in the meaning that it's not in the system tray anymore. But it's not closed in the meaning that you can not add any comments there if you open it again. The last thing is actually impossible unless you leave the chat.
