Skype Unlimited is super. So happy to have this resource.

I recently set up a Skype account for an elderly relative. When I tried to pay for Skype Unlimited for her use, SKYPE automatically canceled the order. I had used the same credit card that was used for my own Unlimited.

The message from SKYPE suggested trying a different credit card.

I returned to the web site to use a different credit card. After logging in as the relative, the web site controls prevented my being able to order Skype Unlimited. Clicking the link to purchase Skype Unlimited only kept taking me to the page to purchase Skype Out credits. That is not the same as Skype Unlimited.

Each time I started over, the link did not work as it had the first time I visited the site. It would NOT allow me to continue to the page where one pays for Skype Unlimited.

If my 76-year-old aunt is prevented from using Skype Unlimited because a legitimate credit card is used more than once, what means would we have to attain that service for her?

More to my curiosity: I would think SKYPE would enjoy members encouraging their relatives to use Skype, along with PAID FOR service. I take this as a slap in the face for trying to advance Skype use.

I expect Skype could cancel the limitation one day.

Donn,

You can't buy Credits for another account if you already bought credits for yourself. if the second CC was also yours, it wasn't possible to use it.

There is a way round. You can use the Control Panel (note that you do not need to have a business) to buy creditd for your aunt.

The problem is that is not workable particularly for a business.
Do you have an answer to that?
Skype has no reasonable explanation for this restriction.
There is no way allowing this could cause any type of fraud exposure.
We use the same PayPal account and Credit Card for all of our business needs.
Now you tell us our business must have a different PayPal or Credit Card for
each employee that uses Skype? That makes no sense at all.
