is there is any API to minimize the IM windows and place it in System tray as MINIMZE does for skype main window

There actually is a command MINIMIZE (https://developer.skype.com/Docs/ApiDoc/MINIMIZE)

But MINIMIZE commnad minimizes only the Skype main window , but not the IM windows...

I need a command which ll do the same for IM windows

As far as I know there is no command for that purpose. You can make a new feature request in Jira so that I can ask the developers to decide if this would be something we can add to the API.

Can I suggest that if this is created in Jira, it could be a more generic request than just the Chat window? I don't believe we can currently manage video windows very well, for example; there may be others I've forgotten/not come across?

It should of course be able to cope with more than one window of a type - I sometimes have many chats going on simutaneously...

I think the suggestion was for "You" to make the jira request this way it would be according to your request. So.....

Actually there is a request in Jira already to get the controls for the Video window - https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-117

To get other controls, somebody please make a new request in Jira so I would know what exactly you need to have.
