Full Version: DTMF tones work better now

I just installed 3.2 beta and have found DTMF tones to be working much better now.

I tried three different times and the conference system recognized the tones on the first try each time. (With 3.1 and earlier it would take 2-3 tries or wouldn't work at all.)

Thanks for fixing this!

Unfortunatly for me, DTMF tones still don't work, either with my conf. call company: intercall.com, or with my company's Octel voicemail system.

The tones aren't recognized.

If I kludge up some kind of inband DTMF (holding the headset mic up to something that make DTMF tones) I can get things to work but that is the only way and not practical for a company wide deployment.

Anyway this problem is a show stopper for my 5000 person company adopting Skype in a serious way sadsmile.png

and I see from searching google that this has been going on for a long long time...
