When the skype is placed into system tray, I can't reboot the XP.
The system will close most of the programs running in system tray including Skype.
But the system won't reboot.
I have to choose reboot again and the system will reboot normally.
I checked the event log and it showed the event ID 1517.

I tried to shutdown the skype manually before rebooting the computer.
It will reboot normally.
So I suspect this issue is due to skype.

Known problem when you have extras manager installed.

We will work with this issue.

My windows also hang on shutdown with the new version 3.2.0.63 installed. I had no problems with version 3.2.0.53

Yes i have extra manager installed. I think the problem is the new update of extra manager to version 1.1.0.246 because i have no problem with skype version 3.2.0.53

You can remove that freely if you do not use extras.
