I tried to import GMail Contacts but Skype always tells me that it didn't find any addressbooks with contacts - but there are a lot of contacts with phonenumbers.

Thanks we will look more into it, probably there is bug.
When trying to import Outlook Express contacts I also get no contacts. It's also highly desired to specify a location of an addressbook on your computer so that Skype can import contacts from there manually too.
