AppName: skype.exe AppVer: 3.0.0.216 ModName: dsound.dll
ModVer: 2.0.0.310 Offset: 000058d8
We have Windows XP Pro SP2 v2002 on this PC
Could anyone please help with reoslivng this?
Many thanks in advance.

Well, I actually had the same problem before attempting to use VCS Diamond. It really bugged me but I was too lazy to attempt to fix it.
After seeing I wasn't the only one with this problem I took 2 minutes to fix it and I did.
Here's a set of instructions that I performed to fix my problem:
1. Click Start Menu.
2. Click My Computer.
3. Go to your Windows installation folder (Ex: C:\windows)
4. Look for a folder called "system32" then click it.
5. Find a file called "dsound.dll"
6. Copy it.
7. Go to your Skype installation (Ex: C:\Program Files\Skype)
8. Look for a folder called "Phone" then click it.
9. You might see 2 files, one including "Skype.exe"
10. Rename the "dsound.dll" file to "dsound2.dll"
11. Paste the file that you copied earlier.
12. Restart Computer.
13. Done! It should all work fine!
I hope this helped you.
Oh, and if there's a Skype Official reading this, please take my word: You have destroyed Skype, in my opinion. Please give the option for classic/old Skype.
Thanks,
