I think it would be great if we could create skype aliases so that we can use the same skype account for different business / personal situation.

So you could switch between skype accounts (or aliases) using a drop down, whilst still appearing online on and contactable on all accounts.

Is there anyway of doing this? Is this being planned?

Yes, I totally agree with this!

I use Skype for business and personal use and I'd rather not give away my personal skype ID to business partners. It's also quite a daft name and not exactly relevant.

A way of deactivating a particular alias when not needed would be perfect too!
