I saw this in the paper Skype offers free calls to the US and Japan over the holiday

does anyone know if it applies to Canadian numbers too?

Since the country code is the same does skpye know the Canadian area codes and charge for them during promotion period?

Are these announcements on the skype web page anywhere?
