Hi!
I'd be very glad if there was an plugin available that counts the in- and outgoing traffic caused by skype. Many people over here have broadband connections with limited bandwith, and so it would be very useful.
Hm, btw. why does Skype use so much bandwith when not calling. My Instant messenger causes much less traffic. I can't imagine why skype has to use so much more... A keep-alive packet and a small call-monitoring cant use so many Bytes/s...

Skype uses all of the clients that are running as servers for calls, instead of having one central server, so your bandwidth is being used for other users' calls (or something, I think...)

You can download sygate firwall which monitors the usage of each program.

I'm running Debian GNU/Linux. Maybe there's another possibility...
I think users should be able to decide wether they want to act as a server or not...
