Using 3.0 API "ALTER CALL <id> TRANSFER handle1[, handle2 ..] " , can not transfer an incoming call from Skype 2.5 version. An error will be returned. " Error 592 – ALTER CALL: transferring the call failed".

Use "GET CALL <id> CAN_TRANSFER <Skypename|number>" to retrieve property, will return FLASE.

It's by design or a bug?

Person who is making the call and also who is in the middle (the one who will transfer it) must both be using the version 3.0. The person who the call is transferred to can use a lower version. Also, SkypeIn calls can not be transferred currently.
