Hi all...
A problem with latest beta, OS Tiger, PPC.
The first time you open the pref window, it will.
Then it won't open anymore. Installed, re-installed, cleaned prefs, checked permissions. Nothing happened.

Any clues?

Thank you!
Raul Liive
Removed.

My mistake.

Tiger is not supported by Skype at the moment.

Tiger is 10.4 and is the current stable release, its 10.5 (leopard) that's not supported.

The preferences stopping thing seems quite common. The usual fix is to to find your skype plist file and trash it.

1. Quit Skype
2. Go to ~/library/Preferences
3. Trash com.skype.skype.plist
4. Relaunch skype.

It wasn't totally clear whether you had done this from your 1st post.

Sorry, I didn't read about that.

Thank you.

You can always spotlight for "Skype plist" to find the plist file aswell.

It was not my PB. A friend's one; I told her to remove plist file, but actually I don't know if she did it smile.png

Thank you

It may also be necessary to trash:

~/Library/Application Support/Skype

Do you get some kind of error message?

No.
Simply the window will not show up. No messages, no warnings.

Thank you
