I have tried the various versions of 3.0 beta including 3.0.0.137 but it closes upon startup with message on Microsoft windows asking to report the crash to Microsoft. The crash does not bring up Skype error message, so I do not know the reason for the crash. I have tried everything on the forum to see if it I can get Skype work but it does not. Incidentally, this Beta 3.0 crashes only occurs in my home computer. I will really love to run the beta on my house computer. Attached is the copy of error report that it wants to send to Microsoft. You can open up the error message for more details, the error number 'may' give you a clue. There after suspect sound card driver, try updating those and firewall settings
I am still having problem with Skype crashing and closing itself upon startup. I have tried to update my sound card, which incidentally is up todate. I could not find the error code number you talked about. I am pulsed that not even the latest update 3.0.0.154 can run on my computer. All the earlier versions of Skype worked beautifully on my computer. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
